Starting when I was a child, I combined my love for reading with comparing the movies they were turned into. My mom told me she did that as well. It was a big deal to collect all of the ‘Ramona’ books. I’d also like to highly recommend adding ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ to this list. I’ll always love the original film but the book is a great, must-read. The book is so incredibly funny, and has an almost Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes style humor to it. Did you know the book got a sequel volume?

Sounds funny I’m still fond of children books, I used to read night time stories to my niece and nephew. Every time we have family night stay over I missed it a lot. I love all the books selections above. Great gift for birthday and holidays, I still prefer hard cover book like this that the electronic one.

I think my little guy has caught the reading bug with me! He will sit through a story book easier than a movie. These titles are going on our wishlist.
